Berkly acupuncture?

Hi, I was just informed by one of your recent posts about the Berkley center being opened at ECF in September. I was just wondering if this will be ONLY for people with pcos or is it going to be for all your patients?
btw, I recently had my day one sonogram for cycle #2 and after 7 months of acupuncture (from someone who studied under Mike Berkley) I have 12 follicles without stims!!!!!! The most I've ever had (with stims) is 7!!!! I know that acupuncture will not get me pregnant bc i don't have tubes but I'm extremely impressed with the results and will be happy to recommend my acupuncturist - Roberta Klein Siegelson in Oceanside NY - 516 -766-1717 x 3

The Berkley center for reproductive wellness at East Coast Fertility will be open to all even if not patients of ECF.

That's great! where will he open? The plainview office is tiny! We can barely fit in there during monitoring hours lol

Sounds great! BTW, now that I have 12 follicles(without meds), does it mean I no longer have low ovarian reserve? Or does the bcp impact the follicles? I know bcp effect fsh but I don't think it effects follicles. The most anyone has ever seen before this cycle was 4-6 without meds. Now that I have 12 makes me think I am no longer classified as having DOR. Is this correct? I am 34 and last cycle 6/7 eggs fertilized naturally on there own w/o icsi or assisted hatching. Curious to see how the next cycle goes. Hoping for at least 12 eggs and maybe a day five transfer? That would be a dream come true!
Also, do u allow us to bring our acupuncturist with us to the transfer for treatment before and after transfer?

Regarding ovarian reserve it sounds like you Have reasonable reserve but I would want to evaluate in person. Accupuncture before and after will be handled through the wellness center. If you want to do this during the summer it will have to be arranged on a case by case basis.

Thanks! My cycle should start in August (b/c u guys are closing when I wanted to start:((() so hopefully you will let me bring my acupuncturist to the transfer.

Mike Berkley is probably the best resource I can recommend in accupuncture.

While I'm sure he's great, I love mine and do not want to switch especially since I now have 12 follicles unmedicated (from 4-6 unmedicated last cycle) from her!!! Besides, Mike will not be at ECF until September and hopefully I will not need to be there in September. I mean I really like you guys but not enough to keep cycling without results!lol

I think we just never know what will happen each cycle with our Ovarian reserve. My First IVF I had 13 folliciles but only got 7 eggs. I had m/c but when I did IVF #2 6 months later I only have 7-8 folliciles. It's truly amazing how it can change month to month.
