Hi! Since this board seems new and no one has used this community yet, I'd thought I'd give a shot at opening up dialogue. I have relied on message boards in the past as safe support groups both when I was going through trying to get pregnant on our own, through the fertility treatments and after as a new mom struggling with a newborn, so I know how helpful they can be...
I guess I'll just introduce myself... My name is Jessica and I am a 31 year old nursery school teacher (part time) and mom to a 17 month old daughter. My husband and I tried to get pregnant on our own for a year and a half before seeking out help at East Coast. It was believed that my endometreosis was hindering us from getting pregnant and so we decide to go directly to IVF. We were very blessed that the cycle was successful and yielded a number of embryos. We transferred one and again were blessed with our daughter. We are preparing for a second transfer this month or next.... at first it was July, then when July got here it was August... the more dramatic my daughter's tantrums get the longer I want to pospone it! So I just thought I'd put myslef out there in case anyone wanted or needed anything and may be helped by this board. Great job East Coast for trying to provide women with as much information and support as possible with a very all-consuming experience. |

Thank you Jessica for being brave enough to be the first and best of luck with your IVF this cycle.

Hi
My name is Amy, I'm 32 and as soon as AF arrives this month I will be doing my 3rd IVF cycle with ECF. My previous 2 ended in early MC and I'm hoping that this one will be a success with a slightly different protocol. |

My Name is Michelle, I am new here also and getting prepared to make an appointment to discuss my options for IVF. I am 39 now and have had 3 pregnancies, all successful vaginal deliveries 1 child, my son was put up for adoption when I was a teenager, and I have 2 girls 18 and 15. Over 10 years ago I had my tubes tied.. Biggest mistake of my life. Now I am getting remarried and we desperately want a child together. I have no clue how this all works, or what the costs are. I don't even know if it is possible for us to conceive.
If anyone has successfully conceived after having their tubes tied, I would love to know how you did it.. Thank you and God bless this fine Dr. for all the miracles he has performed for those who wanted children. |
