Hello! I am a 31 year old teacher who will begin her 1st round of IVF soon. I was diagnosed with endometriosis a few months ago and had it removed by my gynocologist. I am very nervous and don't know what to expect. Can anyone share their story with me or give any advice?
Thanks!: |

Hi! I also have endometriosis and went through surgery. 6 months after surgery I underwent my first round of IVF and was successful and now have a beautiful baby boy. It is a very emotionally draining process but looking back it is worth all the crying, sleepless nights, and making myself crazy. It will happen to you, just try to be positive and take it one day at a time.

I'm 32, a teacher also, and had a lap this summer for endo (mild, but I hemmorhaged after - not fun!) I've heard from many women our age that mild endo seems to be a problem - and they have been able to have children though IVF. Good luck!

Happiness10,
I think you and I are friends already. We spent a bunch of mornings talking and even had our retrival's on the same day, which was yesterday. Let me know how you are doing. Christina-giggs3221@aol.com |
