Default Mini IVF , Single Egg Transfer?

Hello Doctor,

I'm 43 years old with one blocked tube, no problems with husband's fertility. Am I a good candidate for Mini IVF? Reasons for consideration versus traditional IVF are cost savings and don't want to be on heavy medication if it will not neccessarily produce better quality eggs. FSH is around 7 and I have regular 28 day cycles. I already have a 10 year old child. Any thoughts? Thank you.

Age still is strong factor effecting success but typically there is not much advantage for many patients to have full stimulation at age 43 vs. mini IVF. I could best tell by antral follicle count.
